Excellent concept album, contains thirteen parts, 70 minutes of this majestic creation, this is the second lp of Tomorrow’s Eve, perfect cover, one of my preferred, this band plays an incredible prog metal, very heavy, incredibly progressive and with a lot of sentiment, they’re from Germany and they’re between the three best bands in the world, seems a precision instrument, perfect synergy and coordination, a lot of creativity in their members, Oliver Jungmann was the strong card in this group, very powerful on the legs and also he’s so skilful, he creates awesome rhythms and changes with his legs, he’s one of the top three drummers, I'll expect that Tom Diener do somewhat lofty, the other members are magnificent musicians too, they got a great keyboardist, Oliver, he plays amazing orchestrations, fantastic keys and wonderful piano parts, the guitarist very clever, Rainer plays great solos, harmonies and a heavy distortion, the bassist good enough, Chris excel in the entire album, captivating and strong original voice by Rouven Bitz, he sings with a great feeling, stay ready for their new material and tour, another one band that I don’t rest until I’ll see them playing live.

Song by song

Dr. Brandon, an intro, the beginning of the album and of the history, background keyboards and orchestration.

Optimization, starts with loud harmonies accompanied by a powerful drums, followed by keyboards and a strong bass by Chris, this band is pretty impressive, since the first song you can appreciate their high grade of progressive metal, great instrumental part with the guitar, bass and keys, the powerful drums follow the melody, then starts the vocals, another great musical part with guitar solo included, finished by intense drums, next the original voice appears again, phenomenal and constant changes in the rhythm along the album.

Cold sience, excellent instrumental part with quiet cymbals, drums and angelical piano, the sentiment on the bass is very perceptible, one smart interlude in this masterpiece.

If eyes turn blind, one of my favourites, starts with impressive keyboards, followed by mighty drums, strong bass and a loud distortion in the guitar, Rouven sings with a great feeling, shows his talent, again, the best metal is start to come, the fastness in the drums is awesome, the changes in the rhythm are amazing, the guitar harmonies are very heavy, all the movements of the musicians are precise, at the five minutes appears a musical part, spectacular! A top song in prog metal music history, the keyboard orchestration is magnificent, Oliver demonstrates his ability to play, I’ll hope they never let doing this art, already they showed their capacity to create this perfect music.

Lost, begins with a sophisticated piano part, followed by guitar and cymbals, then appears a heavy distortion in the guitar, bass and drums, immediately next, orchestration and keys at the same time, awesome progressive rhythms, then Rouven starts to sing, great chorus on this song, pure feeling, great way of singing, for a moment they play more soft with a melodious guitar and keys, followed by drums and bass, after six minutes the Tomorrow’s Eve experience is to commence, musical part! Extremely good, incredible metal progressive, slow down for a while and one more time they do their fantastic music, Jungmann is so strong, seems like your ears explode on every drumbeat, Oliver shows what he makes best, next, the captivating chorus, finally, the song ends with the start of the next part.

Live your dream, another one of my favourites, begins with fast piano and great vocals, reminds me Tad Morose in the sender of thoughts era, (only in the beginning), one more time fast piano accompanied by drums, bass and a loud distortion in the guitar, the best metal! Next, Jungmann plays in an unbelievable way; he creates an awesome rhythm with their legs, totally progressive! That’s innovation, that’s the kind of things that really musicians must do, innovate, he do this for a twice times in the song, that’s why he’s a top drummer, at the 5:40 minutes… Musical part! Starts with a melodic piano, accompanied by guitar, drums and bass, next, guitar solo, and next, keyboards solo, can you believe? The song ends with great metal created by the guitar distortion, accompanied by drums, keys and bass.

Next chapter, another interlude, great orchestration and keyboards.

New orders, starts with acoustic guitar harmonies followed by enchanting vocals and very progressive drums, next, sentimental electrical guitar, then appears a guitar distortion, accompanied by keyboards that sounds like piano, great rhythm by Rainer, powerful! Awesome changes in the rhythm, next, musical part! Begins with a loud distortion followed by fast keys, potent drums, and a loud bass, this part ends with a magnificent prog metal, the sound is just amazing.

Crazed gunman, begins with a keyboards effect with guitar, bass and drums, they show fastness, pure prog metal! Rouven begins to sing, the rhythm don’t stop, suddenly the sentiment invades the song, for a moment seems a ballad, but again starts the metal, excellent work, perfect performance of all the musicians, they made a impressive musical part, the tranquillity are back, and the song ends with Jungmann’s swiftness.

Mirror of creation, another instrumental part, but this is longer, they play fast, turn slow and accelerate one more time, at the end, Oliver play an extraordinary piano part that continues in the next part.

Too many lies, melancholic piano and captivating voice, pure feeling, great orchestration in the entire part.

Point of no return, starts with acoustic guitars (2) and orchestration by Oliver, next, slow progressive drums are incorporated with a bass and emotive vocals, after a moment appears a guitar distortion, for a little while all is tranquillity and appears only the piano with vocals, next, becomes the distortion by Rainer, increase the rhythm and sounds more heavier, fantastic guitar solo followed by a incredible keys, lacking a minute to end the song appears the tomorrow’s eve machinery, they show their trademark, simply awesome, the final of the song is with a guitar echo with a voice recorded.

Tomorrow?, piano part with orchestration, an appropriate farewell.
