Suspyre - When Time Fades 9/10

An extremely talented band from New Jersey who are signed with Sensory records ( Gordian Knot, Circus Maximus ). The band is based upon great musicianship in the vein of Symphony X but are refreshingly different. Charlie Zeleny is a masterful drummer indeed and can kick with the best of them, The song Totally Endrhyme has to be heard!!
The vocalist, Clay Barton does an adequate enough job without having a very unique voice, ( I find so many Prog-Power singers sound a lot like Russel Allen )Whether thats buy design i don't know. Standout tracks for me are Lighted Endrhyme, Apparitions and Let Freedom Ring. I think the album is extremely progressive as far as technicality goes , These guys are masters at the their art. I can only see good things ahead for this band and as a live act would be something to behold!!Don't be surprised to see them headlining festivals in the near future.
