Biography:

...A band that began on the summer of 2005 by the guitarist Jose Carlos Abbud under the name of “The Conjuring” which got changed to “Blood Exile”. Abbud recruits drummer Julio “Chats” Maynez and guitarist Raul “Ruso” Piñon. A few days later they began to play covers from monsters of Thrash Metal like: Megadeth, Metallica, Pantera, Testament and so, for about a year. In 2006 they went forward to the next level and began to write their own songs, they accomplished their first demo “The Heir of the Crown” that included a total of 5 songs.

Blood Exile started promoting their demo by playing it at some gigs around the city and some other cities and states. Later on, in 2007 the band added a total of 4 more songs to their arsenal, that effort received the name of “Mercyful Destruction” wich mixes overall elements from both Thrash Metal and Progressive Metal (Thrashgressive Metal or Technical Thrash).

Aaron Olivas join forces with the exile playing the bass before playing with other bands adding an agressive touch to the music of the band. In November 2008 the band plays several gigs around their country promoting "Thrash Clash Vol.III: Blood Exile Vs. Sacrilegio" a split CD compilation limited to 1000 copies by Stormspell Records. Nowadays the band is looking for opportunities to promote their songs and looking for the right label.

Our Sound? We try to make our own style of "Thrash Metal" mixing elements of what we love (Thrash, Prog, Death) with no boundaries or rules attached.
