Biography:
Anguish was formed in summer 1995 by members of the band Metal Age after winning the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis Newcomer Award. Shortly afterwards the debut CD "Lost Days of Innocence" was recorded and successfully released with the label D&S Records in winter 1996/97. After receiving without exception good reviews in the national and international press, the musicians concentrated on live tours together with bands well known at home and abroad in the following years. They made good use of this time advancing musically and writing songs that mirror their reorientation and stylistic progress.
>In spring 2000 the began the preliminary production of their new CD in their own studio . In summer 2001 Anguish, together with producer Andy Horn, started to work on the completion of the latest CD "Symmetry" in the "Famous Kitchen" studio. The beginning of 2002 saw the first promotional activities, among which was the release of the title piece "Symmetry" on the sampler "Progfever Vol.I".
