Alkymist are a power, prog outfit from France that dont just stereotype themselves in the power mould which for me is a relief, as power can get rather corny and monotonous.

This band can best be described in terms of sound to Helloween, Symphony x and Blind guardian. The vocals are very crisp and clean, somewhat like Ted Leonard of ( Enchant ). The standout track here is definately when the morning comes ( This song could seriously become a classic ) They also do a great rendition of Helloweens Eagle fly free which will delight Helloweens fans!! The album is somewhat short clocking in at just over 50 minutes , but it does give you an insight into a very talented band indeed and one which can explore their music without limits!!
