Progressive Metal act created in 1998 and centred upon guitarist Marcos De Ros of the well known DE ROS power trio. DE ROS, also including AKASHIC bassist Fábio Alves, released three albums in 1994’s ‘Ad Dei Glorium’, 1997’s ‘Universe’ and the 1999 offering ‘Masterpieces’.
AKASHIC was assembled by guitarist Marcos De Ros, bassist Fábio Alves and drummer Sandro Stecanela, subsequently enrolling frontman Rafael Gubert and keyboard player Éder Bergoza, with drums switching hands over to Maurício Meinert. AKASHIC undertook extensive touring in Southern Europe before recording of their ‘Timeless Realm’ debut.
