Ofsoski - Later than never 9/10

9/10

Richard Ofsoski is a very talented musician out of Brisbane Australia. His debut album Later than never is a splendid mix of Royal Hunt and Yngwie Malmsteen.

He is also a very talented vocalist with a strong voice, the abum starts of with the song Temination which is a great opening track, and then its on the the Excellent flame with its middle eastern feel to it. The next song Nightmare is a very uplifting song with an awesome riff. It's obvious Ofsoski is a big Royal hunt fan as his music is strongly influenced by them but adds his own style aswell.

The song Haunted to me is his standout track, very powerful with awesome melodies. Worried sheep is an awesome instrumental which has a Planet x feel. He is an unsigned artist who sells his cds through cd baby, you can buy his cds through his myspace. He is also in another band as lead singer of Sedition ( Prog metal act ) This cd is awesome from start to finish with not a dull moment. A very uplifting album from an artist with huge potential indeed.

Biography:

RANDOM is an extreme prog metal band from Tucuman, Argentina. Their roots are in 2006, they had a different lineup than the current one, also had a different style. At the beginnings of 2009, after the band were close to an ending, Raul (vocals/guitars) and Pablo (bass) kept composing with the desire of finding the third member, so then RANDOM would be complete. Just in time, a partner of Raul at the Psychology's University (UNT) accepts the challenge and decides to give RANDOM a chance. So, Marckos (ex Flow) starts playing with the band, energy flowed immediately, things took a course that no one expected, and that was because of the free expresion. After several rehearsals and a few concerts, RANDOM vomited their first EP "prrimo The", it consist on three songs and a lot of situations. "RANDOM is like a band whose style never ends"
